Nina Harris received her Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University and holds a certificate in Supported Employment.
Nina works closely with the counselors and the Department of Rehabilitation Services to offer individuals an approach to find employment that is integrated into the client's treatment plan. She networks with local employers to gain knowledge of opportunities in the area and brings her own past employment experiences to offer a broad range of employment knowledge to assist individuals with success. Nina utilizes a strengths-based and client-centered approach that nurtures the individual's personal growth and dignity. The support she offers includes building a positive relationship that empowers the individual through interventions to assist with employment search, resume building, interviewing techniques, self-advocacy skills, and reducing barriers that make finding employment difficult. Nina is the mother of three children. She has a cat, a turtle, and a bunny. She was born and raised in Central Illinois, has traveled across the country as well as lived in Alaska. She has called Sullivan home since 2009. |
