Brittany Kelley received her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University. During her time in college Brittany studied abroad in Italy and earned the honor of being a Tanaka Scholar and was also inducted into the National Honor Society of Education. In Brittany’s senior year of college, she was accepted to present at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research in Long Beach, California on her paper “A Study on Feminism in Ancient Greek Theatre.” Brittany accepted a job at Moultrie County Counseling in January of 2025 as an Employment Specialist. Prior to her job at Moultrie County Counseling, Brittany was a Public Educator at HOPE of East Central Illinois raising awareness for domestic violence. At Moultrie County Counseling Brittany works closely with the counselors and Department of Rehabilitation Services to offer individuals an approach to find employment that is integrated into the clients’ treatment plan. She works with local employers to broaden her knowledge of opportunities in the area for her clients. Brittany offers a client centered and strengths based approach to help clients’ gain meaningful and lasting employment to help fulfill each clients’ individual life goals. Brittany is the mother of three children as well as multiple pets. In her free time Brittany runs and operates her own local crochet business and is a girl scout troop leader in Charleston Illinois. Brittany is also a professional singer and musician who can be often found singing in local community choirs, community bands, and places of worship during the holidays.
