Amanda Sides is Moultrie Counseling’s Licensed Practical Nurse. Amanda graduated from Lakeland College in 2010 and worked in long term care before joining the team part time in 2024. She continues to work in long term care when she isn’t at the counseling center. Amanda has certifications in Infection Control Preventionist, Wound Management, Dementia Care and BLS. Amanda works collectively with our contracted Psychiatrist to assist clients with medication management as well as any issues that may arise in between visits. Amanda is an integral part of the team handling communication between physicians, clients, and our clinical staff.
Amanda resides in Sullivan with her husband, youngest child and two dogs-Sissy and Squishy. Amanda’s husband is a lifelong resident of Sullivan, she moved here in 2017. In her free time, she enjoys reading, doing puzzles, camping, attending car shows, and riding around in their golf cart. If you have been in Amanda’s office, you would have seen her fascination with word art, gnomes and Nightmare Before Christmas. Amanda is a strong advocate for mental health and mental health awareness for the residents of Moultrie and surrounding counties.
