Alejandra Huerta Hernandez, LCPC
Therapist
Alejandra joined the team as an intern in 2022 and has since joined us as a full-time therapist. Alejandra got her bachelor of art degree in psychology at Eastern Washington University. She is finishing her thesis for the master’s clinical psychology program at Eastern Illinois University. She has research experience primarily in positive psychology and implements some of the findings in therapy.

Alejandra primarily works with children and adolescents using Play Therapy techniques, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, mindfulness exercise, and Arts and crafts, among others. Alejandra’s primary interests are working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral problems, and cultural/racial issues.

Alejandra is from the evergreen state of Washington. She loves nature, hiking, doing arts and crafts, reading, baking, and spending time with her kitten. She is also a Star Wars fanatic. Alejandra is a Spanish-speaking Hispanic female. My pronouns are she/her. Alejandra strongly believes in being kind to one another and anyone can benefit from counseling.
